SEO Tips – No-follow Links

What are no-follow links? No-follow links are widely considered by SEO experts to not have any value in terms of link building. However, there is now a growing understanding of No-follow links and their impact on SEO and link building and a belief that they now may have an influence in some cases. Let it be said that again that in most cases no-follow links will be of no use, but if the links are placed on high P/R sites like Qondio, or trusted citation sites like the Yellow Pages they may be of great use. In the same way Google may ignore what is deemed as important follow links and define them as spam, Google may define these no-follow links as important. When evaluating and assessing no-follow links there are some critical factors you must consider and they are as follows: • Value of anchor text
• Are outgoing links no-followed, or followed on the linking URL
• The power of the target URL
• Strength of domains it is linking to
• Most importantly, as mentioned, the strength of the URL linked from So, the moral of the story is that when you are doing Intel you may consider adding a few external links to your article.
